I suggest we make only one thread for birthday wishes. Instead of so many threads, only one thread that makes all share their birthdays together. It is, as well, easier for LitNetters to know whose birthday was recently AND is going to be soon.
So, why not make it a sticky note and start with:

Isn't it also listed at the bottom of the page each day? I think I would miss out on a lot of birthdays, if you switched to only one thread. I generally only respond to people who I know or even slightly know. Realistically, I can keep up with all. I believe, I prefer it left as it is now - individual threads. Those are always a lot of fun!

Oh my gosh, Lynne, I had such trouble with it. Glad you like it. I can't seem to get any photo in the background. The square keeps turning red and then a rejection statement appears above. I emailed two mods but I had tried everything they suggested. I settled finally for the plain backgrounds. The photo of Brooke is from my son's Christmas card - I photographed it and cropped and fixed the exposure a bit offline. Sure, after Christmas, I can help you change yours. I believe that individual birthday threads are more easily noticeable. Otherwise, any given birthday could get lost amid the others. However, I confess to suffer the everlasting need to be noticed and never ever forgotten
