I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?
will buy a new sewing machine after 27 years, with my old one.
Go on Litnet.
Also spend the day with my fantastic son (curriculum - day off).
Play squash with my fantastic son.
Go on Litnet.
Go out for lunch with my fantastic son.
Then go on Litnet... There's that pattern again.
Ok I did everything on my list except go on Litnet... But I'm here now... Yea.
Tomorrow.
Not sure exactly what I will be doing, depends on the weather.
I have another play date with my son (Golly two curriculums in a row)
So might head of to the city.
Or Go shopping.
Work on my new sewing machine.
Litnet
Cook and have a beautiful seafood dinner with my family
Drink plenty of wine.
Then back on litnet.
What is your new sewing machine, Maryd, if I may ask? And what do you make on it?
Hi Kassie, The new sewing machine is a Brother. It is the only brand I will buy as I had the last Brother for 27 years. I can make anything. I sew all my clothes (except jeans as the old machine was faulty and I had too much trouble) Sometimes if I am at the shops and find a dress or something cheaper than buying the matterial then I will buy it. But not often.![]()
Let's hope the new machine lasts as long as its predecessor! I burned out two Singer models doing free-hand embroidery on them - apparently 'domestic' models are built to have an annual usage of something like eight to ten hours, which doesn't sound much but think of how many seams you could run up in that time. I was told that if I wanted to do that much in a day, I needed an 'industrial' model which have motors designed for continuous running but my budget didn't run to the expense so I regretfully gave up the embroidery, part of a course I was doing at the time - I'd done more than enough for the assessment, but I loved it, so much quicker than handwork and the effects were so satisfying.

All done apart from the bathroom and am dealing with the proposal as we type...
OK, the house didn't get TLC exactly; it was more of a a quick squeeze and peck on the cheek, followed by "You know that I love ya, right?" but still...
I will make a plan for the weekend as I don't know what I can do when:
- Attend the lectures
- Clean the bathroom
- Iron
- Weekly grocery shopping
- Finish reading suggested readings for one of the courses
- Lesson plans for next week
- Start working on the proposal

Tomorrow I will
Finish making my daughter a vest.
Do a workout
Walk the dog
Go grocery shopping (Still haven't! Running out of goods)
Get everything ready for school for the week
And Love more.
Tomorrow I will put my house on the market. The agent is due at 10.30 to measure up, etc.
Then I will go into a flat panic in a big way. And probably stay that way until I move.
Then I will calm down a bit and start making lists.
Then I will go back to Panic Mode.
Think I'll get into practice now.![]()
Ok, my list from yesterday:

Go grocery shopping (Still haven't! Running out of goods)
Get everything ready for school for the week
And Love more.

I am working on the lesson plans as we type but other than that, all's been done... Oh, and I have found some more of the suggested readings so will be reading them sometime this week.
I even managed to talk to my mother on MSN for an hour, order some books on amazon and changed the duvet covers/sheets...
Tomorrow:
- Fax the forms
- Work on the proposal
- Start on some assignments
