Whenever I hang laundry, I have to use the same coloured pegs for the same piece... If pegs are not the same colour, it bugs me so much that I end up going back and replacing them.

I'm sorry Scher, but this just cracks me up.
So I'm planning on going 2/3s vegetarian: Breakfast & lunch = veggie city. Dinner = meat & potatoes.

Wish I could say you were the only one... I have friends who change the pegs around on purpose to watch me biting my nails not to run outside to put them "right" again.
I often buy different pasta shapes and whenever cooking those, I leave a little at the bottom of the pack, which I collect in a separate jar. When I have guests with children over for dinner, I make dishes using the mixed shapes I have been collecting and they love it.
(OK, I get a kick out of the mixed shapes on my plate too)
