Oh, I've known that for sometime. I get all those great endorphins/seritonin floating around in my brain, from all this laughter. After about 5 mins of reading your posts, Max, I am feeling quite well. In reality, I have been to councelors and they only depress me more, at times. Now they should take a cue and employ some laugh therapy. I was at Lynne's house the other night and we laughed our heads off so much, I felt great; healthy as can be. Good movie; I really liked it a lot. You have good taste in films. I am too curious not to watch all the extra features...I want to be fully informed.

The epilogue for "Prison Break", that one titled "The Final Break". I don't like TV Shows coming to an end, much less when one fave character dies a tragic death, though he dies for love. Self-sacrifice is something I agree with, though I'd prefer a "happily ever after" ending every now and then. SO I feel so sad that the day doesn't seem to be getting any clearer

So you had a movie night with a classic. Last night I had a date with a classic too. I watched the first episode of "Airwolf" (a classical TV series of the 80s) which reminded me of a good time of my childhood. Back then, when I was a kid, it was broadcasted here on Saturday nights and I had never seen these episodes since then. Now I'm getting the whole seasons on DVD, which is the best option always, especially with classics hardly ever broadcasted nowadays

Annamariah, you are too humble and modest. I love your sensitive drawings so much. Don't ever think that they are 'just drawings or sketches'. Michelangelo and Leonardo Davinci both did extraordinary drawings. I happen to see some at the National Museum in Washington years ago. I was so entranced with the technique of delicate pencil line; so very impressive. I think you have have great skill seriously. I have had a art college education and much more time to practice my craft. You have lots of time to develop yours. Don't abandon it as I have in recent years. I hope you can pursue art in some form because you are young and it's wonderful to have talent.

Oh yes, this is very much more than true. I remember what Leonardo used to reply when he was asked what he was doing, when he was doing nothing (visibly ) but staring at some form of material. Oh yeah, I got side-tracked again and volunteered to be casting director in DanielBenoit's new Shakespeare Youtube production. Hey, Max, you are a ham, how bout joining in? If you don't have a video camera you can just recite you voice playing a role. I am casting director so I can find you a good part. We will make our own beautiful music (movie) together.
But seriously, I need to write up about 10 movies I have seen lately which were truly great. Right now I am watching this cool documentary on James Dean, directed by Robert Altman. Funny, I picked this cheap DVD up a long time ago, for a dollar, and it's really good. The-made-for-TV film, preceeding the documentary, was fairly good, but dated; but this b/w documentary is truly intriguing. What prompted all this was my recent viewing of East of Eden. It was incredible; ever see the film? I will get to writing them up next week. I am still not caught up on some very important email replies, which have to come first.

I love that series and researched extensively the real man and have read several books on him. He meet his ship in Buenos Aires; is that anywhere near where you live, Max? I am greatly interesting in that part of the world, especially since it's so close to Antarctica. I just bought the great nature film March of the Penquins, too. When I looked at my globe the other night I just realised how far south Argentina really was...wow, that is so cool!

Airwolf - I never heard of it and I used to watch films and TV shows with my son from that era. It's so cool how we can get the old series on DVD's now. I was curious to see what everyone was raving about. I did find it entertaining since I like Hugh Laurie. I also watched his family series in Britian of 40 Something. It too was great fun. Yes, indeed those pieces of art by Annamariah are wonderfully rendered. I think her style is reminescent of Ingres work...hope I spelled that correctly. I love his work and have a book of his portrait drawings...simply stunning and lovely imagery.

I really don't now about Crawler, but I'll see what I can find Probably the screensaver is incompatible with your Vista. There are programs that were written for XP but somehow Vista can't run them properly, so I don't really think it has to do with your browser but more with the Operating System.

I would love to be an actor, but I have two problems. One is that I've never recited nor acted, so I have no acting background to support a career on Youtube
Besides that, my voice sounds terrible on microphones (it actually sucks ), surely because I never went through proper vocal training of any kind. What do you think, am I a lost case by now? if I had imagined this chance I would have trained myself from my very childhood

Oh yes, TV producers want us to think a lot, to analyze the message they intend to give, and hopefully to find something in ourselves through the story.

The plot for Airwolf is more or less like this: It's the story of an advanced combat helicopter developed by a secret agency for special missions. Its creator prefers to use it for personal benefit though, so the government hires another pilot to recover it from its wayward inventor but he has conditions, that is, to work for the government in special missions piloting the chopper while the government must pull some strings in order to find his brother, missing in action during the Vietnam war where they both served. It was a very advanced/original action series for the time, created by Donald P. Bellisario, and I think it somewhat opened the gates for the action/sci-fi shows of today. Jean Michael Vincent, Alex Cord and Ernest Borgnine were the main stars. The great Sylvester Levay was in charge of the soundtrack.

House IS A MUST. A top-notch cast for a top-quality show

Now that I am thinking about it, it may have been on my other computer which did have XP. It could possibly work on this one, now that I have waaaayy more RAM. It was the coolest thing; ancient building facade that would break into pieces/transform/morph. I loved it, but it would not work consistently. I may have deleted some part of the program and that kept it form operating fully.

It's a cool idea, huh? I am of the same mindset. I hate hearing my voice on video; I can't recite or read aloud to an audience; I certainly can't act. I was in my HS school play; got second understudy. Long story, but I would prefer to stay in the chorus...as I said, I can't act. Thee classic one of 1955 staring the amazing shortly realised talent of James Dean, who tragically died in a car crash at age 24. This Steinbeck movie adaptation's wonderful. You MUST see it....a Caine and Able story. I loved it! That's just a preview of my coming review...stay tuned to Movie thread...

Oh, yes um. He's my favorite actor. I collect all his films and his screenplay books and anything else I can locate. I also have a channel page on Youtube dedicated to him but with playlists encompassing a lot more. Shackleton is a must-see. It's an amazing story and totally true. I have researched it and the real story is even more amazing and hard to believe. Let me know when you will watch it and I will rewatch here, too. I own the 3 disk set....great stuff!

Not sure if it's BBC; but it's the documentary that came out a couple of years ago; believe the film makers were French. Even the 'making of the film' is amazing (included on the disk).

The plot for Airwolf is more or less like this: It's the story of an advanced combat helicopter .....gates for the action/sci-fi shows of today. Jean Michael Vincent, Alex Cord and Ernest Borgnine were the main stars. The great Sylvester Levay was in charge of the soundtrack.

Thanks for the synopsis. That does sound different and intriguing. I will check that out on Youtube. Wow, Ernest Borgnine was in that...I thought you were too young to watch his old shows. Is he still alive? I collect sound tracks. I wonder if you can get Levay's work on CD's. I will check that out, too.

Laurie makes the show. He's an amazing actor. I loved him in everything I have seen him in. He was in the Kenneth Branagh group of friends; actually Emma Thompson's friends. He's in Ken's film Peter's Friends. Hugh L is very talented. Of course, what really cracks me up about Dr House is that he nearly kills off the patient, right before he saves them...happens everytime. He sure uses the defibulators enough, doesn't he?

Besides that, my voice sounds terrible on microphones (it actually sucks ), surely because I never went through proper vocal training of any kind. What do you think, am I a lost case by now? if I had imagined this chance I would have trained myself from my very childhood

You know, everyone thinks they sound awful on microphones (or if they hear their own voice recorded), because in one's head their own voice always sound different than it does to everyone else around them. I don't like my real voice at all either

Anna, but apparently, this time it's Jack Sparrow with two misses and no rival male! We have been having a great time on this pirate ship lately....very entertaining....Max is as crazy, too as Captain Jack!
