    Happy Birthday, Night!

    An interview with Nightshade:

Why are we doing this interview thing?
Becasue I simply fascinating and everyone wants to be just like me . My narcissim demands it!

Are you sure you want to do this?
    Yeah why not?

    Are you male or female?
    female

What is your name (if you don't mind sharing it with us)?
Well I have 9 which one do you want? My first is Leila (Laylah) though I much preffer night

    Got milk?
No its cooking the rice and sitting in my Bassbosa wich is waiting to go in the oven

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
I am betting scher magiced it away with her super powers

If you had a personal theme song what would it be?
    Gnarls Barkley’s Smiliey faces http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgEGK96QihM
-would you belive I spent months trying to find one as I am the question originally.

What makes you keep coming back to the Forum?
Dunno, Its my home I guess!

It has been a year since the last interview. What have been the high and low points?
High: All the people who came to see me: Niamh, Sleepy, Subby. I made meatalls that actually stayed meatballs and having my dinner guest tell me I was a brilliant hostess. oh and getting my e-reader

Low: Being friend ‘dumped’ and the point in time when I was convinced I had failed my course.

The best and worst books you have read during last year?
Can’t rember what the worst was called but Read it in Feb when I was doing the vampire /werewolf/and things that go bump in the night book list it was by Keri Arthr and the annoying thing was it actually had a pretty good murder mystery plot thing but every time they got close to a breakthrough the charchters had to stop to have a sex scene. It was very annoying and disruptive.
The best or rather the one that I rember being shocked by how much I enjoyed it and loved the most was probably The Knife of Never Letting go By Patrick Ness.

The biggest surprises of the past year (both pleasant and unpleasant)?
Pleasent: The Tokyo job email, getting a birthday present last year I wasn’t expecting at all! and Niamh saying I was one of her best friends.
Unpleasent: Finding out what someone I thought was my friend really thought of me. Oh and teh interview where they said it was obvious I didn’t like to read.

What has been the the biggest change in your life since your last birthday?
    I graduated .

Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism?
    Yupp

Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
I wanted to go for somthing really odd and out there but I cant think of any I would like to be oh wait I would like to be human if given a choice.

How did you meet your significant other?
    Don't have one.

What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Nothing I particually want to share thanks.

    Do you believe in ghosts?
    Not really, no.

What is your role in an emergency situation: the 911 dialer, the person who runs to
the scene to help, the video recorder, or the person too overcome by shock to do anything?

911 dialer, or clean up person. I am usually the one left mopping up the blood.

What song is in your head at the moment?
    Layla- Eric Clapton

Which book are you reading at the moment?
    The Master and Margarita

The last book you finished reading?
Too good to be True by Kirsten Higgins

What are you wearing at the moment?
My cleaning trousers, my indoors longs sleeved top and my lazy person hijab

    Favorite TV shows?
ones, Ncis, Ashes to Ashes, Being Human, Torchwood, Doctor who, Firefly, Battle star Galactic, Stargate SG-1 , Arabic: Yawmiat Wanees, inti meen ya helwah, hal el dunyah

Which LitNet members would you like to meet in person if you could?
Well I have already met a few and have pretty solid plans to invade some other people( and you know who you are or should anyway) , but them aside, Opti, Tal, Pensy, Papaya ( for a minute there I had forgotten I haven’t already met you ), Logos, Scher, gosh too many to think, you know what I probably want to meet pretty much everyone, so lets take that as said- I recently even started thinking and writing down how to g about planning a proper major reunion, when I get my act more together I may actually do it.

Hamlet is a play by Billy Shakespeare. A play is basically what people in the dark ages used to do for fun coz they didnt have any TV programmes to watch like Jerry Springer or Cops. Despite the name tho Hamlet should not be confused with little villages, they are hamlets whereas there is only one Hamlet in the play and he is from somewhere in Denmark. Anyway, the basic story of the show is that Hamlet's father gets killed and his mother gets jiggy with his uncle who becomes king. Hamlet is kinda crazy and thinks he sees his father's ghost walking about the top of the castle.

Hamlet finds out that it was his Uncle that killed his father, and writes a play to mess with his uncles head. His uncle hires 2 of Hamlets homeboys to kill hamlet because of how he dissed him in front of everyone. Hamlet escapes however.

Another important character in the story is a dude named Polonius. He is a really nosy idiot who is always sticking his nose in where it isnt wanted. Because of this he ends up getting killed by Hamlet for listening in on his conversations with his mother. Hamlet thinks its the king/uncle, but I didnt really feel sorry for polonius - I was happy the stupid git got killed.

The main interesting woman was Ophelia - was is played by the cute Julia Stiles in the film version (she roxrs my boxers). Hamlet is a total player, massive props to the man, he makes her think he loves her - then dumps her. It is too funny, the best part of the film. She ends up killing herself, dumb bint.

Of course, her brother, Laertes isnt too happy 'bout the way Hamlet treated his sister & challenges Hamlet to a dual. A dual is what they did back then instead of just bustin a cap in someones arse. Anyway they fight and both of them end up dying. This was the end of the play
    Favorite thread?
NOt sure I really have one,

    Last food did you have?
‘bird toung’ (its a type of pasta really) soup, sambosas a bit of salad and two slices of bread. Bream rice and and meat, followed by bassbossa ( ands this is only because its been over an hour and half since I started this interview and I have gone away and cooked stuff in the meantime. ( plus its Ramadan, so I eat all the days meals at once.

Last words you said out loud?
“Layla! Youve got me on my Knees Blah blah please blah blaaaaaaaaaa” ( i was sininging)

    Last person you hugged/kissed?
    one of my sisters.

What question would you like to ask yourself?
Just how truthfully have you answered these questions? -answer: so are not correct now as I post them.

What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?
Praying. Actually I have gone away and done that now, and rescued dinner, and gone away again and cooked cake and eaten it.

    Last dream you remember having?
Gosh this is a long one and quite disturbing, shorter answer is genocide. ( I figured out the whys but I wil get to that in a sec) I dreamed I was travelling some where in south/far east Aisia I know this becuse of the animals and beautiful scenery and such. And if you are interested in the indream adervtising I was flying in a small Virgin jet ( the pointy kind rather than a Boing) Anyway so I end in this amazing beautiful place in a country that has a fair number of muslims, and I get to this ruins castle type thing ( that resembles nothing so much as the sketched of the hanging gardens of Babylon. And I meet this guy who is somehow link to the keeper of the ruins/site who has just convereted/reverted whatever you want to call it to Islam and I am interested in the why? So I hang around for a few days to find out more. And then there is this massive uprising/ turn of public opion what ever and Muslims are in danger and all these armed soliders are rounding us up and locking us in chambers and shooting people ( including a little girl I saw shot right in front of my eyes) and they building mass graves and such. And I need to escape but I cant and at one point I am kneeling with a gun to the base of my head... Good news I have a Hollywood style escape which includes the ruins keep dude and lots of running through muddy fields and and jundgle and narrowly missing crocodiles and I get the runway where the Uk citizens are being evacuated just as the plane is taxining but its stops we are rescued and off we fly and the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in the background.
Bizzarly it wasn’t even a nightmare that is I only woke up in shock the once when the gun was at my head instaly went back to sleep again and dived straight back into the dream, so I guess my brain is pretty messed up.
I probably had the dream because I was watching an episode of New tricks that mentioned Sarajevo and that got me thinking about Bosnia and such...

Who is your best friend and how long you have known them?
In alphebitcal order, Aimus , Niamh since they both joined ( though I wasnt really freinds with either till later) . Rudaynah since I was a baby.

If you had to lose one of your senses, which would you choose and why?
Time, then I will never be worried about the future or the past

Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?
I don’t know I guess I am mostly happy, Id be happier if I had a job and was actually doing something with my life but yeah other than that I guess I am pretty happy

How often do you tell lies?
    When necessary.

    What gives your life meaning?
I don’t understand this question? I am tempted to say God, but that seems too easy an answer, I don’t know knowing Ive done the best I can with what I have and not hurt anyone in the process I guess.

What type of Faerie would you like to be and why?
A banshee, Ive always thought they were misunderstood and I love the loyalty of them.

If you were a colour, what colour would you be and why?
Green because it is a good color and my favourite!

    What makes you laugh?
Not much really Im not much of a LOL person unless I am manically giggling, sugar, stupid bad jokes, micheal Macintyre ( although if you watch the same show more than once the jokes grow stale), I don’t know some people just make me laugh. Being surprised in a good way

What was the happiest period of your life and why?
When I was 6. Because everything was alright in the world, I had figured out that if you made friends with unpopular people they wouldn’t leave you or be nasty about you and I had found my niche in life ‘Protector of the lonley’it was nice while it lasted, plus loads of people wanted to be my friend because my mum was our teacher, so life was good. Plus I loved the poem and still Now we are six by A.A milne it ends
Now I am six I am clever as Clever,
And I think I'll stay six forever and ever
If you could be a disney character who or what would you be and why?
Baloo the bear, because I can sing “the bear necessities” in two languages

Do those animated smilies ever get tired? Think of them day after day, dancing or crashing computers or laughing or crying till the end of time...
I really don’t know why we have this question, I doubt it

One thing you would like to do before your next birthday?
    Pass My driving test!

Did you answer all of the question?
    Yupp I think so

One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?
Don’t let fear stop you from aiming high!

What would you like to ask to the person to be interviewed after you?
What is your most bizarre book memory?

Thanks on the basket. I thought you would like it. Great interview. I loved your answer to this question:

What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Nothing I particually want to share thanks.
Now there is the sign of a wonderful heart and a well adjusted person. Great answer that I shall remember.

Note to Scher: I like some of the new questions here. Good job.
