    lol, no kidding. whenever my mom makes spheeha she usually has a friend with her, and it STILL takes all day .

    Yes not Levantish as it were. same basic principle but with really only meat and rice. ( and spices)
    and you dont fold as you roll only roll!
    Plus cabbage is kind of stinky ( but tastes ssoooooooooooo goooooooooooood) so alot of peopel won't cook it.

    SO I saw a book today but I cant rember who it was by, Famous name that made me do a double take. bizzarly book was called beware the women or something I was going to say something in the blokey thread but its gone now anyone any ideas?

    Noo Im thinking thats a levant- Shammy thing, or at least not our area of egypt but then we have Mulkhiya and bream.( sound more like bread than beam Br-ehay-um kinda)

    On a side note my Mahshi and Kabab Halah ( also first time I tried it) came out BRILLIANT!
