    Rating the Pulitzer Prize Winners

    Scheherazade posted this list along with a reading challenge. I'm curious to see how you guys and gals who have read any of these books would rate them, on a scale of 1-10. I've rated the few I've read in boldface below.

    Shouldn't we try and do averages? Most people have read To Kill A Mockingbird, but not everyone thinks it's a great book.

    This is a good idea - I don't suppose we could talk you into doing it? If not, maybe I will...in the meantime, Scheherazade is certainly doing us a service by keeping track of total scores even if it's not necessarily the most accurate way to rate the books
    BTW, I'm normally not very pushy (ie suggesting someone I don't know do something) but what the hey, all you can do is say no & pont the ball back in my court...

    Kelby> It would have been a good idea but considering the number of the books in the list and the number of members we have, it is near to impossible taskl; however, like Jr said, if you are feeling up to it, you are more than welcome.

    On another note, the fact that a book is more read than the others is sort of a credit to it (at least to its popularity) and is an indicator that it is liked by more people.

    Even though there might be few exceptions, I think we will have a good idea about the books and how they are liked by our members.
