How did you come about this site and what makes you keep coming back?
I am sure I was searching for Dostoevsky or Gogol or some such. I came back because I quickly fell in love with many of the members.
Are you happy with the way things are here?
Yes, it is a versatile and high quality group of people.
Have you visited other countries than your own and what did you like about it or not like? If you could live somewhere different from where you live now, where would it be and why?
Yes I have visited Canada for 5 months, on Vancouver Island. I strongly recommend this. It is a temperate rainforest climate, and it is so beautiful in the summer. The land is as beautiful as anything I've seen, pure, clean, the rivers are also wonderful.
To the second part, yes, I would live in India, for many reasons. One - I am Hindu and a vegetarian, and all the Indians I know are the finest of people. Two, the culture of India (Bharat) is ancient, and the deepest spiritually.
Do you have any pets?
No, I dearly wish I had a dog or a gecko.
What makes you happy?
Meditation, being with those I love, learning, living healthy, eating right, work, writing, being with and thinking of my beloved.
What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?
Our biggest achievement is spiritual vision, our downfall is that currently there is suffering due to ignorance and apathy toward spiritual life.
If you had a long day of hard work ahead of you what music would you be playing on your mp3, while working?
Sudevi or Srimad Bhagavatam on audio.
If you could take one book, music album and one video with you to a desert island, what would they be?
Bhagavad-Gita, the Axis: Bold as Love, and Rasputin.
Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God?
God is the most important one in my life; or rather, equal as my highest desire to my beloved.
George Harrison said, and I quote somewhat frequently; "Many things in life can wait, but the search for God, that cannot wait."
For me this is the sum and theme of my life.

I don't know many, sorry.

I have several friends who are monks who are inspiration to me. Their inspiring qualities are wisdom, sincerity, and kindness. If it can be those not living, then the list is quite long.

Taste. Taste and smell are both senses, right? I've heard you "taste" more by your sense of smell anyway. So I choose taste because I think that would impede me the least.

Both.

Life itself. My trust in myself. The love of my family, the love of my beloved.
