Oh, I love that song! I remember at the time it came out, we all thought Roland Gift, the lead singer, was so gorgeous! He had such a unique look and a very unique voice.

So Lonely ~ The Police. Such great guitar work by the often underrated Andy Summers.
the luminous grass of the prairie hides
feet lovely and still as sleeping doves,
porcelain bones strong enough to carry a life,
    but weighty and unmovable
    As black Dakota hills.

    Dark Blue- Jack's Mannequin
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

    Herehere, Classic.

And, of course, Bruised - Jack's Mannequin.
Then she would run until morning to ease the ache; swifter than rain, swift as loss, racing to catch up with the time when she had known nothing at all but the sweetness of being herself.

The Sound Of Silence ~ Simon & Garfunkel
"He was nauseous with regret when he saw her face again, and when, as of yore, he pleaded and begged at her knees for the joy of her being. She understood Neal; she stroked his hair; she knew he was mad."
---Jack Kerouac, On The Road: The Original Scroll
