hahaha...that is a good one Scher. He is James McAvoy...think I spelled that right. He is of the younger generation. Hey, in cyberspace, we can fawn over those as young guys well, can't we? I think he may only be in his late 20's. He was in "The Last King of Scotland" and "Becoming Jane"....two pretty decent films. He is quite a good actor. Another Scottish actor I always associated with McAvoy is Ewan McGregor. I just love those Scottish accents, too. I will have to come up with some good photos of Ewan soon or ask my friend, Haunted if she can, since she is a big McGregor fan.
Now I have always loved Joaquin Phoenix, but I could not understand that long beard deal on Letterman show or why he has retired from acting. Was the beard part of a comedy routine; does anyone know? At the Oscars, Ben Stiller, had a similar beard and acted goofy like him. I didn't get it at first, but then I saw the Letterman clip on Youtube and got the joke. So what is the latest on Joaquin? If he has dropped out of life, at least I have his old movies to watch. Yes, he is very 'smexy' indeed, Bakiryu

I love Ken Branagh, he is still my #1 celeb crush and he's from Ireland. I actually love the film he did with a lot of knackery accents - "The Shadow of a Gunman", I am just viewing it again (3rd or 4th time) on Youtube. I just read the O'Casey play as well and loved it; remember that you recommended it to me. I bought the book of plays - can't wait to read another - probably "The Plow and the Stars" will be next. The Billy plays were very Irish and I loved them; have you seen those - that stared a very very young KB. Of course, some of the characters, I could not fully understand, until I heard the actors say their lines a few times. I am sure you would probably not understand me at times either, with my 'states' accent and slang.
We have more accents than England and a lot of them arent nice!!
)and he's a little odd looking, and Idril pointed out to me that he's a mere 5' 7"; but he claims you through pure force of personality; nothing like David Tennant, but something like him in that aspect.
