    Can I still nominate?

If so, I nominate Eugene Onegin by Pushkin.

Oh darn, Pushkin! my favorite work - now I'm torn. And Jane Austen too! It's a shame we don't get such good nominations for the major book-club books, since this is only a one day one.

I'm definitely going with the Pushkin! So the deal is that the book needs to be read BY Febuary 14th? I'm pretty new to the forums, and especially new to the book club.

I may have to hold off on this. I'm getting overwhelmed with reading I do want to read Kim and Richard II in February as well. I'm not going to vote now, though I would enjoy reading The Lover again and I've been meaning to read Pursuasion.
