There once was a scotsman named Drew
Who put too much wine in his stew
    He felt a bit drunk
    And fell off his bunk
And landed smack into his shoe

    Fortune cookie!!

    I had chinese for dinner!
I'm weary with right-angles, abbreviated daylight,
Waiting for a winter to be done.
Why do I still see you in every mirrored window,
In all that I could never overcome?

I had Chinese, too. (see above post ). Honestly, I was dying for some fortune cookies. I hadn't had any in so long and that was really the reason that I ordered the food in the first place.

    Well, I had two cookies.

Fortune #1 - "A loved one is of the utmost importance at this time" (I found this one interesting because of some things that are going on here at the moment)

Fortune #2- "You will do better in real estate than in stocks" (Then I am back to ones like this Maybe I should listen to it - it just might be true! )

    What did yours say?

#1- Wisdom comes with age. Ask the advice of someone older than yourself.

ooh this cookie has two fortunes!!

#2- you will be successful in whatever you do
#2.5- you will be selected for a promotion because of your accomplishments

I love it when I get two in the same cookie!

These two actually work together, though, don't you think? And they were in the same cookie. So maybe it will turn out to be true.
