Okay, I suppose I should answer the 'would you' question.
I could doubtfully recognize my own dogmatism; I could pick it out in a crowd of beliefs, but probably could not classify it, relate it fully to others, or enroll it into other dogmas - basically it sounds a lot like the kid at elementary school who smells funny.

Would you sacrifice your appearance for the loss of knowledge? Let us say, would you get plastic surgery to enhance your appearance, if it resulted in extracting knowledge of one subject of knowledge of your choice? If so, how many parts of yourself would you change, thus losing that number of subjects of knowledge?

erm no, eventually that plastic surgery is going to ...give out, sag, bag, droop, what have you.

If there were a steroids-like drug that increased brain power and learning capacity but had the same effects as steroids would you take it?

Nope - for the same reason I dont take steroids to enhance my physical abilities

no. I'd never choose to take steroids regardless.

If someone offered you a car for free, but from the looks of it you know its was road kill, would you take it?

I can't drive, I rely on my trusty steed, my bicycle. So no.

Would you go nearly five days without a shower if the hot water was out and the water tempereture, being like the outside temperature was only -10 C?

Obviously, no problem. I can easily go for a week or two or three without shower. (bacteria and dirt are my best friends )

    Same question!
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

Oh sure, but not just to escape weather I don't like.

Would you travel to countries with worse weather than where you are now?

I probably would, just to explore them.

Would you control the weather if you were given the chance?

At the end of the day, I don't think any amount of surgery could fix the self esteem problems that lead people under the knife...

I don't think I'd be able to make a rational decision, and at the end of the day, 101 people would probably die.

Would you consider that a negative character trait?
