I see we are getting into the young adult state of mind.

I'm looking forward to participating in the book club again.
I don't know what to vote for though. I'm torn between The Teacher's Funeral and Kim.

    Calvin: Last-minute panic.

Oh go with Kim. It's set in India and it's a bit of a spy novel and a great relationship between the young boy and a Tibetan Lama, a spiritual man. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_(no...s_in_.22Kim.22

NO NO NO! don’t listen to Virgil. The teacher’s funeral is a hilarious story. Here’s what Amazon has to say: http://www.amazon.com/Teachers-Funer.../dp/0803727364

In a nutshell, it’s 1904 and the teacher of the little school house dies. A young boy hopes that they will just call off school but his big sister gets hired for the job. It’s a riot!

I forgot that it involved spies. I was going to sit out of the voting, motherhubbard seems so eager to read The Teacher's Funeral, but I decided to read the Gita in February and it would be great to supplement it with Kim.

I haven't, but February seems like a good month to change that.

    Sorry motherhubbard.

    I can't believe there's isn't a single vote for The Satanic Mill.
