Opinon on the theme?

So I read 1984 last year in school, but now I'm doing a report on Orwell and part of it is to compleate a report on 2 of his works. Obvasly I'm doing 1984 as one of them, being its one of my favorit books. I havent a clue on the other yet scence I can't do Animal Farm. Any suggestions there?
But any way I'm going to reread the book and I already have an idea of the theme but any suggestions would be welcome.

I'd strongly recommend one of his essays as a complement to 1984. Politics and the English Language is ideal as it tells why he wrote 1984.
