    Happy Birthday!

    An interview with Eyemaker:

1 - How did you come about this site and what makes you keep coming back?
I thank my Lit. teacher for giving us a book analysis assignment, especially when she gave me one of Tolstoy’s works. And to think how long it is, I started to cram and finally decided to “google” some of references. And that’s it..Tadaa! And here I am after a year- tolerating myself to this LitNet addiction.

2 - Have you visited other countries than your own and what did you like about it or not like? If you could live somewhere different from where you live now, where would it be and why?
Other countries? I often I wished I had but since I’m stuck with my school-chair and tethered in my straight-laced mom, I had no chance. But I had visited a lot of beautiful places here in our country. I’m sure you’ll love it if you have a chance visiting our place. Perhaps after graduation, my uncle invited me to visit my nieces in Gloucester(England) ...It'll be exciting for sure!

3 - What are your favorite hobbies ?
Reading of course(If in school, I love doing this hobby in my favorite place- school pond!). Saucers after classes, making a little chat with my teachers, making my notebooks inhabited with monstrous eyes and lines and curves(especially during a boring lesson), I just love doing tints all over!... (I remembered one time, when I tried making fun of my teach, I made a caricature featuring his moles, wrinkles and eye scars!. )

4 - Do you have any pets?
I bought a pair of puppies last week..(Fuyine and Hujio- strange names I know!). I let my bestfriend in taking care of the latter... cat ofcourse, I had a lot. some were already resting in peace. Believe it or not we have made small sepulcher of some kind at our backyard for our deceased pets..

5 - What makes you happy?
Friends, sleepovers, phone calls, emails, postcards, chocolates, LN, new friends online, high quiz results, impressive essays...and the list continues ...

    6. What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?
    Internet perhaps...

    7. If you had a long day of hard work ahead of you what music would you be playing on your mp3, while working?

For some reasons I am beginning to like "Secondhand serenade", Lifehouse of course, Clay Aiken, Stephen Speaks...all those sorts of music.

    8. If you could take one book, music album and one video with you to a desert island, what would they be?
Hmm. The Little Prince perhaps.. I never get tired of reading it...also the music video we have made together with my friends. The singing was horrible, but the memories are incomparably exquisite...

    9. Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God?
    Certainly!

    10. Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Thomas Sangster will do great. I want the film focus in my early years(growth and formulation of character, awakening of religious doubts and a growing absorption in the world of books), Those themes are particularly emphatic in my current years..

11.Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
Deer perhaps.? Based on some references I've read it symbolizes love, gentleness, kindness, gracefulness, sensitivity, purity of purpose, walking in the light, swift,
nimble, meek, gentle, meditation, love, longevity,- which somehow fits my character????

    12. What were your favorite things to do the past? What about now?
Past: Thumb-sucking, dancing in school plays, choirs, outdoor games etc..
Now: well I still can thumb-suck. Can't I??, For some reasons I don't like enlisting myself in school plays now( I guess I lose all my guts)., My voice Ohhh..they're horrible now! I can't even give justice in singing our national anthem..

    13. What activities make you lose track of time?
I'm a second year Literature student. Well ofcourse paper works(loads of it), long exams, school activities(academic trips..).. to name a few.

    eye-making(period)

I love the way I look..

    43. Which book do you wish you had written?
    I dunno

    44. What is your favorite book cover?
I simply love the cover of my "Count of Monte Cristo".. Very classic!

    45. Most and least favorite characters from books?
Its hard to choose for just one... Yossarian perhaps as one of my favorites favorite, and Aloysha for the Least fav.

The Artist that fell Twice or simply Two yards from a Sepulcher.

    47. What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?
Visit my sick classmate. She has the questionnaires we're needing for our report..

    48. Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?
    Neither.. Wonderful Batman

    50. Which literary character (s) have you been told to resemble the most?
I'm currently in the third chapter of "The Portrait of an artist" and i guess i can sympathize with Stephen's situation..(all those social alienation stuffs)

    51. List some of the things that annoy you immensely.
perspiration, highways, reckless drivers(I curse them- they're the reason why i'm almost late in my exam this morning), stupidity(in every aspects), being judged illogically, bigotry, narcissism, pointlessness, ....a lot actually

    52. Anything that you want to forget but you never can?
My horrible high school teacher. It's a long story. But it started with a little glitch about an exam..(We’re just ignoring the fact that it's her fault, but because of her own irratational principles we cannot interfere)

    53. One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?--"If all the world hated you, and believed you wicked, while your own conscience approved you, and absolved you from guilt, you would not be without friends"--C. Bronte"Jane Eyre"
