*Classic*Charm*.....hhahaha....no one is awake that late at night, except Lily and me....I stay up mega late, sometimes till 3 and she is in Ca and I am in NJ, so with time zones - she is probably on about 12, when I am on about 3, when I should be heading for bed. I am usually typing with one eye open...like this...but really... I feel more like this...

Lily, I will try to make this one shorter....
    Me too. XP
Still not sure what XP means.
Us thinking for ourselves, I think.
    Good idea, if we do.
Hooky! With boys! Bad Janine! Jist kiddin'!
We were safe; they turned out to be gay.
Ooo, that's so cool that you still keep in touch with your teacher-I love teachers to death. They are usually so amazing and awesome and unique, unlike a lot of my peers. I just love them. They give me hope in this world. I still keep in touch with my Geometry teacher from last year. There have been so many when I've wanted to just go in the teacher's lounge and hang out in there. I am actually e-mailing my ninth grade and my current science teachers for fun. (I'm sending them this article
    http://<br /> Yeah, it is nice; gla...</div> </div>
) Ah, technology, gotta love it.
I still need to go and watch this. Bet it is cool.
    Gotta be understanding.
    Ah, thanks.
    MAYBE SO!
    It will happen.
    Exactly.
    Yes!
Yep! I was a bit jealous when they got together, though, cuz I had a crush on Papageno for some reason.
Figures, Papageno was the dorky guy or the nerdy one. Actually, when I saw the extras on the Branagh film DVD I liked the guy who played Papageno more so than the handsomer guy - something about the P guy was rather appealing.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE those videos. They never cease to make me laugh really hard.
They were cute. My son's of my grand-baby would top them though - haha...of course I am a bit prejudice.
wish I could reverse that one...haha
Yeah, I should steal her classical music vinyl collection and put it in mine, like I did with her classical music CD's. (Okay, not all of them...bot much into the Romantic Era...)
Robber...so that is where my missing CD's went....hummmm...
Daw, really? I don't know much about him. I'm blasphemous, I know. I just don't seem to listen to what everyone else listens to, like the classics.
    Trust me, Dillon looks old!
    Yep!
Did you get a reply in the social group?
Oh, isn't it? And yes, I am thankful for those...
    Old music rules!
It's a smiley. Look at it sideways. >.> <.< are shifty eyes, not sideways, though. See?
    well...not quite...but sort of....if you say so...
    Probably!
That makes it even more hilarious! Laughing makes me laugh like crazy. Have you seen that video where a buncha people laugh and it's a challenge to see if you don't laugh the whole time? I laughed like...two seconds in. It was sad. I think I laughed at the baby laughing. (Aline, thinking: "Lolololol, baby. Oh, shoot. I laughed. I lost." )
When you hear yourself cackling it's it is not too hysterical, trust me please!
I am! She rubs my back and everything!
    Lucky you!
I used the computer too much. Winged scapula is a slipping of the scapula away from the ribcage and a weakening of the muscles that hold them to it.
Don't we all (first statement)...that sounds technically awful...do you take glucosomine/chrondrotin - that might help that situation; it's a natural sublimenet. It works for me.
And yes, I drink plenty of milk.
    Good girl!
    Yep!
    Truly...
    XD
    Again that does not translate.
    Oh, yes.
    O K

We got a Japanese foreign exchange student at our school! He's neat-O.
Neener, neener, neener, I'm distracting you!
Cool on the friend; my Japanese friend is so cool, too...it is guy also...very nice and very gentlemanly. Well, if you weren't distracting me, something else would be.
    It's just a silly thing I say a lot.
    I noticed.
    Wow, that's so expensive.
    ...super cheap!
    Ahhhhh....
AHHH! D: I'll ask my parents...
Tell them you must have a better chair; get you one for Christmas. They are not that expensive.
    Yay!
    If you say so..
    Yep!
    Sooo agreeable...
Don't ya love it when you get obsessed with something? It's fun.
What would life be without obsession?
I'm sure that was funny to hear.
    Very funny at the time.
Hahahaha. Yep. Bigger than a single, smaller than an LP.
    Gotcha.
If she ever joins LitNet, I'll tell her to!
Yep talk her into it; humm...then she will snitch your computer, and she will become obsessed.
    It's just natural!
    It is.
    Good. Phew.
    Yep...
Once in a while I don't wear them. I had this one lady get really mad at me once because of them. "You don't need them!? TAKE THEM OFF!!!"
    A typical grown-ups response!
HAHAHAHAHA. That made me laugh so hard! I didn't even have to tell you!
What, it was not suppose to be funny; I really do hate wearing the #!&^%z*$@! things!
    Yep! Or secret laboratories!
Oh, now I shall always associate green with those things....geez and I thought I liked the color green...
I'm not really anymore-girl's clothing is too boring for me and my legs look way too skinny for me to ever wear a skirt. Though I must say that I bought a skirt at the thrift store the other day that I actually liked-yellow and gray stripes-real nice and gaudy!
Oh, I like those longish skirts -peasant skirts. It sounds great. I like tie-dye and stuff with seqence and all kinds of odd stuff - I still dress sometimes like a teenager. I love thrift store finds!
Binary would be nothing without it!
Geez, I don't even know what 'binary' is...duh...
    Do it!!!
    I will eventually, be patient...
[QUOTE]Yeah, it's not...is it ever? Thanks. Take care. [QUOTE] Rest those bones!

I have a crush on the current incarnation of Doctor Who, David Tennant. Normally I'm not attracted to actors because the illusion of perfection is blown for me once they open their mouths, but he's really self-effacing and articulate. Not that there aren't smart actors, but uh...well, it's not that common for me to be downright impressed by an actor's vocabulary. This guy once used the word "bellicose" in a sentence.

Though I currently only have eyes for DT-- er, and my boyfriend(!), but we're talking about celebrity crushes here-- I'm glad to see my former crush, Trent Reznor, represented in this thread. I'm also slightly in love with Tom Brokaw, if only it weren't for the fact that he's fifty years too old for me...sigh....

I'm watching It's a Wonderful Life for the first time in years, and I just realized how stunning Donna Reed was.

She kind of reminds me of my top "Golden Age of Hollywood" celebrity crush, Olivia de Havilland:

    Hahaha, okay.

Yeah, it is nice; glad you have some teacher friends, too...they are only human afterall.
I love teachers! Apparently all the ones at my school had a staff party on Friday and I got mad at one for not inviting me.

Figures, Papageno was the dorky guy or the nerdy one. Actually, when I saw the extras on the Branagh film DVD I liked the guy who played Papageno more so than the handsomer guy - something about the P guy was rather appealing.
All the Papagenos gots to be cute!

    You have reason to be!

Hey, I never did answer this Lily, after we hijacked this thread. Nay, still don't see it...closed eyes and tongue?

I love teachers! Apparently all the ones at my school had a staff party on Friday and I got mad at one for not inviting me.
You know, I enjoy teaching things. I once helped aid a teacher at a community college on computers...those were the old ones, before actually user friendly PC's...I took a computer graphics course but we actually had to do all the programing - looking back on that now it is strange to think of. Looked like something out of a Devo video. Later I did teach some people to list things on Ebay. I think I missed my calling and now wish I had gone for art teacher...that might have been fun; but in high school, my actual art teacher was my least favorite one so that turned me off to the idea.

All the Papagenos gots to be cute!
Yes, the little ones! Can you picture that?

    You have reason to be!
I will just agree now since I forget what this refers to - oh yeah, my beautiful grand-daughter! Yes, she is just that and I can brag anytime - thanks.

Ah the sideway smile with the tongue - now I see it.

Not really; I don't think so.
    OK....

    Yep!
    OK, again....

I stopped worrying over whether I was hysterical or not ages ago. I just accept it now.

I'm eating more stuff with magnesium in it. That's supposed to help.
You better watch that - magnesium has to be balanced with calcium. I guess it is ok to eat foods high in M but if you take suppliments you are suppose to balance the two, I believe, or you will cause a deficiency.

Another sideways smiley-eyes closed, mouth open.
Got-it-now~ whip it, whip it good!

Yep! Sounds like a Japanese person!
How true that is. Such nice people.

    I'll ask...
K.....did you tell them about a better chair for your poor back?

    Very boring.
Yes, my life is propelled by obsession.

    Tell me about it!

But they are so cool looking! I just need something on my face...I don't wear make-up, so glasses it is.
So you a hiding behind the specs?

I have green hair and lime green shoes, too!
Maybe you could be in a Devo video. Tap the green magic shoes together 3 times and you will be in 'Devo Heaven' (or is it Kansas?). Now what do your parents say about that green hair? Is it permanent color or spray on?

That is so COOL! Sounds like you have a great wardrobe! Dressing up like a teenager is the best. I love doing it.
I do have some cool things in my wardrobe, because I like fun clothes and colors a lot; also love acessories, don't you? Unfortunately, I need to drop quite a number pounds; after 50 the pounds seem to accumulate a few each year. I can't wear a lot of my more stylish things, which has been lately annoying. I bought a nice leather jacket a few years back on a great sale and now I notice I can't really zip it...eeek...this calls for action! Guess, come spring, I have to make myself walk or do something to she these unwanted pounds.

    Computer talk!
ah - so it is and from Devo's era!

    Thanks! I am!
Good, now that you rested those bones; how are you feeling?

Me too! I love to help and teach. That's why I want to be a teacher. Just to see their faces when they "get" something! Ah!

    Cool. Old computers.

Aw! No! Don't let something like that get in your way! I am so sorry.

Yes, the little ones! Can you picture that?

Don't worry, I get plenty of nutrition. Except the past few days since I hated food for a while because of my stomach flu. I don't think I can afford to not eat nutritiously. Already my body got really weak and I don't have as much padding on my feet and my legs feel like they're going to snap in half. Luckily I ate heartily today and yesterday, so I am fine. I get lots of calcium anyway. Lots of milk. And now I eat spinach for magnesium.

Got-it-now~ whip it, whip it good!

K.....did you tell them about a better chair for your poor back?
    I just told my dad.

Yes, my life is propelled by obsession.
    It's fun.

So you a hiding behind the specs?
    Possibly!

Maybe you could be in a Devo video. Tap the green magic shoes together 3 times and you will be in 'Devo Heaven' (or is it Kansas?). Now what do your parents say about that green hair? Is it permanent color or spray on?

They don't care! My parents are quite liberal.

    Permanent!

Me too! Same same!

You can lose it! Be determined.

ah - so it is and from Devo's era!

Good, now that you rested those bones; how are you feeling?
Better, but now I'm sort of back where I started do to my weakness from this flu. I will get better, though. Thanks for asking.

    Take care!

Forget everything I've ever said before:
(Aside from Mr. Mcavoy, but he's waiting for that divorce to come through.)

I didn't really get the whole hype... then I saw the film. Hey, I'd let him bite me and take my blood, no problem.
