Naked except for a cigarette, you let your mind drift and forget your disbelief. Feel the chill down your back and the flutter of wings through dandelion fields, and forget the pull of gravity in a night without stars.
I lack eloquence and commitment to my arguments. They are half baked, and I will begin passionately, and then abandon them.
Just going to have a chicken curry with the trimmings, and my usual red wine. Lovely.
Water, water and more water. It seems that is all I am able to have these days.![]()

I'm about to grab a cup of coffee.
Calvin: You can’t just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes: What mood is that?
Calvin: Last-minute panic.
Winterhook. Also the TV is on. I don't know what the program is b/c husband was watching it and I just joined him in here. From what I gather it's about what it means to drink in Ireland - it's some kind of FUN documentary - maybe it's fun for the host, who is supposed to be waking from a hangover after a night of tall glasses of Guiness and lots of Irish whiskey. And he goes off to breakfast for Irish whiskey...

I've got "issues" with my body at the moment. So I think water is my best substitute for beverages. Seriously, it is getting pretty tiresome.
That is how I am feeling about soda.I want coffee!!
That sounds pretty good. I never heard of that kind before. Who makes that ice cream?

Can't you drink herbal tea? I drink herb tea all the time. I like ginsing, chamomile (good for stomach problems), perpermint, Paul d'Arco, apple cinnamin tea, and others - even tried sassparillo; you know about cowboy movies and sassparillo, don't you? They also have some teas that taste similar to coffee. I have even iced the herb teas - they're great that way.
Well, did you know that caffeine is actually a pain reliever? They put it into some medications to make the medication work better or your body to absorb it; especially headache and pain pills. They say drinking some makes your focus better and studies have actually shown that caffeine can make you sharper/smarter at tasks. I am down now to a half a mug of coffee in the morning, but I don't really think it is helping my health issue to cut it out. I use some low acid instant coffee, called Kava, anyway. You can buy it at Acme or online. I also crush that Prelief with a wooden pestal (think that is what is it called - to crush up herbs, nuts, etc.) Then I add that to my coffee or cappucino, while still hot. It helps I think, although my concern is my bladder; but also I have had indigestion problems. I take Prevacid for that now, so I am ok. The Prelief mixes up the best in soda. It fizzes a lot so you have to put one in at a time. I use about 4 in a bottle of soda but then I need it really deaccidified. That is how I am feeling about soda.![]()
That does sound good, although I am not crazy over maple syrup - is that the flavor? I would like the ice-cream part. I love ice-cream!That sounds pretty good. I never heard of that kind before. Who makes that ice cream?![]()

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't like tea. I don't like coffee either. So none of it is going to make this journey any easier. But thanks!
And yes, I do know what the cowboy drink is.
How did it taste? I had the soda version of it. You know, the way that it was originally made? It wasn't bad at all.
I have heartburn issues alot of the time. I can take a quick drink of milk and that will help that. But, basically, I stick to the good old Rolaids. I need something that will help me prevent heartburn. I see all of these different things that a person can take before eating/drinking to prevent gas, but I see nothing about heartburn.Well, did you know that caffeine is actually a pain reliever? Yeah, I have heard that about caffeine. Maybe that is also why I am feeling somewhat less active. Who knows? I should look into the different things that you named, though.
But you don't taste the Prelief or Prevacid when you crush it like that?
