Mad Money ~ 7/10 kinda cute.
Ethel Mertz: Gee, this high altitude sure gives me an appetite.
Fred Mertz: What's your excuse at sea level?

Fred Mertz: Now what are we supposed to do? Thumb a ride on a passing halibut?
Ricky Ricardo: I can't afford it.
Lucy Ricardo: Those must have been the first English words you learned.

A Tale of Two Sisters 8/10 Watched this Korean horror film in celebration of Halloween. Little late to celebrate but it's my first day off since Halloween Much better than any American horror film made in the past 10 years.

Saw "Max Payne" in the theater last night. Normally, i do not watch this type of films but this one was based on one of the best shoot em up pc games i have ever played...well it was quite dissappointing..it seems that the film industry can't even be faithfull to the scenario of a pc game (let alone books).

Miller's Crossing - 8.5/10 Very well done crime drama.

(I thought Max Payne was disappointing also but I think they recreated the video game's atmosphere very well)

I guess i expected something more film noir -ish..and they omitted all those weird dreams that were really spooky in the pc game

Fantastic! 10/10....worth it to see the Dali 'dream sequence'. The extra features were very informative. Another great film to add to my collection!
10/10 as well. It was on tv last week. Ingrid Bergman was amazing.

    Leatherheads 8.5/10

It was pretty cute. I love John Krazinski!!

Lucky for you to see it on TV. She is totally amazing, isn't she? One thing about Hitchcock films is, he picked out the best and most beautiful/classy and talented actresses. Look at Kim Novak and Grace Kelly - both stunning. Others were, as well. Hitchcock make such fine casting choices. Even his bit parts are people with extraordinary talent and sometimes quirky performances. I have been watching the TV series on DVD and am amazed at some of the performances of these unknown actors/actresses. This one woman played this very angry, sort of demented character, in one of the shows which I watched last night; I was totally mesmerized with her performance. I have no idea who the actress was, but she no doubt did stage; it was a stellar performance.

*Classic*, Did you ever see "Notorious" as well? Bergman is so sexy and stunning in that film; I just bought it recently - had never seen it before. I never thought of her as particularly sexy and sensual, but she exuded that quality in "Notorious", so did Gary Grant.

Mission Impossible III -- some hokey, but entertainment. Funny supporting character, the computer geek, did a good job.

The BBC's coverage of the US election. A little long, but OK otherwise.

I also watched Black Book again last night. Excellent.

Unfortunately, not yet. It comes in a box set though, that I'm hoping will be under the Christmas tree with my name on it this year.

I completely agree with you about the women Hitchcock casted. Tippi Hedren as well, and even Joan Fontaine in a more simple sort of way. I do think Kim Novak was underrated!

I didn't enjoy this either I thought that it was a waste of time. I didn't realise till after the movie that it was based on a game. If you haven't seen it don't bother
