So here's the perdicament: My coworker is kind of assy. He is pretty rude to customer service/waitresses, etc. Today he called a couple of servers dimwitted because they didn't know pumpernickle bread was the same as black rye, I'm not sure if they heard him but he was standing at the counter talking to me over the phone when he said it. It's embarrassing.

It would appear that way, judging by post #108

Thanks MH, that's what I wanted to rant about!!!! ok. So my coworker's (who wasn't suppossed to even go) camera battery ran out. This guy takes 50 pictures of the same thing AND considers himself a an excellent picture taker. Anyways dummy me says "well we still have my camera, we can share it". stupid stupid stupid. About halfway through the trip my camera battery runs out (by this point he has commendered my camera (I couldn't possibly take as good a picture as he could) and when I did have the camera he kept telling me what shot to get).

Today I'm downloading the pictures and the jackass managed to record about five minutes of his feet and dashboard as we were driving. No wonder my battery ran out!!!!

OH!! and he asked for my memory stick so he could download the pictures. yeah like I'm gonna give it to him and wait for him to send it back???

Well, I'm sure it's nice to be back in your own bed. I love being at home more than any other place. Did you get any storm damage?

But Papaya, was it not nice to have someone who knew what they were talking about and was strong enough to be in charge? You should have relaxed and simply enjoyed your trip!

Did he also tell you what you should order at restaurants?

Nobody but nobody 'borrows' my camera any more - last year I gave my lovely, new, bought-specially-for-the-trip, lightweight, pocket-size digital (you get the idea I was pleased with it?) to a fellow member of the tour to take a picture of me - and she dropped it. Not on purpose, to be sure, but it still bounced and broke - she was mortified and very, very apologetic but it taught me never to hand my camera over to anybody else. Smile sweetly to this arrogant whotsit next time, Papaya, and Just Say No. Let Selective Deafness kick in.
