Dark Night 8/10
It's a good movie but it isn't perfect, nor a masterpiece. But Dark Night is definitely beter than Batman Begins, so Nolan is learning from his mistakes
First of all: acting. Of course Ledger is playing first fiddle in this movie. It's really very good role. Before I've seen it, I doubt if anyone can act Joker as well as Nicholson did. But I was wrong. It's hard to decide who is better in that role. Aaron Eckhart as Hravey Dent was good too. Of course he didn't have so interesting role, but I like that Eckharto showed reliably change of Dent. Next... Maggie Gyllenhaal... She's certainly better than Kate Holmes(thanks to Nolan that he didn't hire that starlet again). But I think that Gyllenhaal just doesn't fit to this role. She's got actress but not in this movie. The biggest dissapointing was Christian Bale as Batman. Really I prefer Michael Keaton in this role. And of course Gary Oldman, Michael Claine, Morgan Freeman were great, though their roles were rather small.
Next thing- music is fitting to the gloomy spirits of Gotham. Another things- scenario, direction, special effects are faultless. But for me movie was sometimes unrealsitic. I know that is a story about superhero etc., but to compare while I was watching Batman and Batman Returns I've never thought that those films were unrealistic. To sum up-it's really a good movie with awesome Ledger. But still I prefer Burton's movies. And I would have forgotten- the ending of course is done in way that we should expect continuation soon![]()

I really liked this movie, though. It turned out to be much better than I thought it would.
