For a change I'm not scurrying to read and vote the last minute. Feels good.

Thanks. Kit Kat Chunk? I haven't heard of that. Now I will have to search for a real one.

You wouldn't mind getting two when you get there, would you?

PS: It is "KitKat Chunky" by the way...

    Addictedtobooks,

    Welcome to the Forum!

You need to have at least 100 posts to be able to vote in the poll. If you reach that number by June 30, you can still vote.

It saddens me greatly to announce that the entry "Emily's Gift" has been disqualified.

Those of you who have voted for this story should be able to vote for another one, should you like to do so.

But it's still the 30th... I needed a few more hours of life experience -- I was still waiting for the insight necessary to cast my vote... I guess it is late afternoon in the United Kingdom, though, so... okay.

I guess I sort of liked the missing one. Whoops, I'm kind of commenting, aren't I,? But then, again, that one won't be part of the 2008 final, will it.?

Congratulations to the author of "Evidence of Rainfall", which is the winner of our June elimination.

Many, many thanks to everyone who has taken in part in the competition and spared some time to read and vote.

You can now submit your stories for the August elimination.
