hey Baki, I need some info about emo kids.
lately, I've seen some couples of emo girls walking around either hand in hand or just walking around together... the point is, they were styled so similarly that they looked almost like twins. was that only my impression or is there really an emo trend where girls try to look identical?
plus, the ones who hold hands, are they lesbians or best friends or both?

last term, I had those two girls in my tutorial who looked 98% alike. they didn't wear emo clothes or dye their hair, but they looked so similar, I never knew which was which. they weren't related or anything.
One of them was a really mean ***** and kept disrupting our sessions, so I had to snarl at her. but I was never really able to figure out which of them to snarl at.
I thought it was only me, because I often have difficulty remembering the names of girls when they all wear the same clothes, hair style etc... but after seeing those emo twins I'm beginning to think that my girls were the sort of lesbian who hate talking to anyone else... or maybe emo best friends who hate everyone else ????

Now you speak of it! Reading is actually a stimulus to get me day-dreaming.
Ah and coffee doesn't work. Even with my eyes open, I dream.

hahah, don't worry about that Pensy, it's perfectly normal for teenagers to dream and/or daydream all the time. I was the same at your age and still am

Well, the trend among emo girls is usually to look like emo guys. Since there's not really a lot of diversity most emos, irregardless of gender, look the same. Experimentation is a big emo thing, so they're probably dating or really-really-really close friends.

There are lots of trends where girls dress like each other in order to belong to a certain group. Maybe both of them just followed a fashion, yeah, they're probably either dating or really close.

What was the difference between acid washed and stone washed jeans? And what kind of acid did they use? And about the stone washed jeans...were there actually stones involved in coloring of this jeans fabric?

Why do some people wash their hair without showering the rest of their body and other people wear shower caps so their hair does get wet when they shower?

"stone washed" jeans: As the name implies, freshly dyed jeans are loaded into large washing machines and tumbled with stones. Adding pumice stones gives the additional effect of a faded or worn look. The pumice abrades the surface of the jeans like sandpaper, removing some dye particles from the surfaces of the yarn.

    http://134.68.135.1/jitt/sampler/bio...goodfor15.html

"Acid Washed": At first the Acid Wash process involved soaking pumice in Industrial Strength Chlorine however is was discovered that potassium permanganate was more controllable and just as strong an oxidizer. They simple(sic) marinated pumice stone in it and then vacuum packed the stone to the required moisture level. Acid wash was a chemical processed denim that stripped the top layer of color off to a white surface with the undertones of navy blue remaining in the jeans. And not only jeans were acid washed; if you were truly fashionable, you also had an acid washed denim jacket that matched said acid washed jeans."

    A) because they were never instructed on proper shower procedure or got dirty hair and a clean body.

    B) Because too much hair washing is bad for you hair and you do shower every day, right? Hair needs protection.

Bakiryu, do you think the world woudl be a better place if Alexaner the Great hadn't died at 32, but had gone on to conquer most of the rest of the known world? What about if he had died before he became "the Great?" I know this question is random, but I have been reading a lot of counterfactuals lately and I'm curious about your opinion.

I once worked overnights at a place that turned regular dark jeans into stone washed jeans. Talk about a crappy job! It's really rocks and there are different kinds of rocks that make different shades of jeans- I'm allergic to all of them
