That is unacceptable. Urrggh. I'm surprised that let you into a room that was not cleaned. I would march right out of there.

I went back to the front desk, they apologized and gave me a different room. It's not like it's some flea bag hotel, it's a decent chain.

it should have been clean to begin with. It's not that difficult to ensure only clean rooms are offered to new arrivals.

Boy you guys are stern. Ya know what else I dislike about traveling? Nothing. It's fun, they have a nice breakfast here and a happy hour. What could be better?

Ya know what else is good about traveling? I don't have to clean the house. I come home at night and everything is clean, or at least looks clean in this case.

Slightly embarassed. This morning I left my cloths and stuff all over my hotel room, I meant to put the "Do not disturb" sign on my door when I left so the maid would come in and see all my crap scattered about.

I forgot to put the sign out and the maid just cleaned around all my crap.

It gets tiring if you go through a stretch of frequent business trips. There's usually no time to relax, except at an airport, and that's no fun. And being away from home I kind of miss some of my personal amentities. But I will say that sometimes it's good to get out of the office. I haven't traveled since before Christmas and I coud sure use a trip right now. Unfortunately i got too much going on at home.

Really? I find the hotel kind of relaxing. I don't have to think about taking out the garbage or doing the dishes I can do whatever. however the work hours can sometimes be longer then I would prefer.

Is it wrong to steal the bible from a hotel room? Normally I've only seen the King James Bible but this time there was also the Book or Mormon. I don't know much about Mormons, Did I take the book or not???

Yes, the hotel might be relaxing, but the traveling about certainly isn't. What bugs me is that I don't have my books handy or a gym available or snacks in the refrig. But with laptops and ipods and cell phones, you should be able to keep yourself busy.

By the way, God's gonna get you for taking the Bible. Actually I think you're allowed, though I never have. I could be wrong though.
