I'd like some ice-cream...rather than the now rapidly cooling cup of ceylon tea...

    too many words to interpret!!!

    >> Gross, chemically processed Chips-Ahoy cookies because we have this bull**** new holiday in Canada that closes all the places I could get cookie making supplies. Like seriously. Wtf. Family day? If we need a special holiday to see family, something is seriously wrong.
Naked except for a cigarette, you let your mind drift and forget your disbelief. Feel the chill down your back and the flutter of wings through dandelion fields, and forget the pull of gravity in a night without stars.

I lack eloquence and commitment to my arguments. They are half baked, and I will begin passionately, and then abandon them.

Just had a cup of Starbucks Cafe Verona (the brew at home kind) with Dulce de Leche flavored cream (International Delight) and am now eating an apple from the school cafeteria that is amazingly crispy and sweet.

well today was President's Day (I think that was the holiday) in the US and the mail didn't run and the banks were closed...of course, everything else was open. That's the thing about the United States - we never take a break. And depending on where you work your place of business may never close. I'm all for giving people a holiday. Paid holidays are better of course, but those are few and far between.
Anyway, I am having generic mountain dew because well the cost of groceries keeps going up up up and my paycheck doesn't go as far as it used to.

I'm all for another day off, and understand that holidays are definately a good thing. Just. It makes me sad to think that people need a specific holiday to spend time with their family.

you're right - families really are the most important thing. But a day off! whooo hoooo!! Sorry Bec - I'm not really trying to be a smart a$$. I have just worked in a bunch of crap *** jobs and I have been envious of those people with a day off. I think I should move to Canada, but I don't know if they would have me.

now I'm having Beer whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chocolate covered fortune cookies. They're kind of odd, but they are OK.
