It's been my experience that they get better with repeated listens, I've found that with all their discs. I wasn't overly impressed with Wincing the Night Away at first either but I've grown quite fond of it now. Red Rabbits and Sea Legs were immediate stand outs for me but the rest took awhile so don't write it off yet.

I'm listening to I Am The Unknown by The Aliens. They're a group that sprang up from the ruins of the Beta Band, a band whose passing I truly mourned so it's nice to hear that familiar voice again.

    Pretender by Saybia.

They're a Danish rockband, and my boyfriend saw an add in a newspaper today that they were coming to our town to have a concert on December 17. So now I have a ticket.

Are his solo albums any good? I really like his song on the Garden State soundtrack and have given some serious thought about buying a disc but haven't been able to commit to it.

    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--

    And whether pigs have wings."

Who says Halloween only comes once a year? You just need to look at me (and Creature Feature) to prove that statement wrong.
