I can't wait for watching the new episodes this season, when they first re-meet the master. They're on my pc but i'm stopping myself.

Seriously, doesn't the eight doctor remind you of Severus Snape?

Do they have Dr Who in the US?
I've seen a couple of episodes but I wasn't too impressed, all my Brit friends love it though... I even learnt to say "which one" when someone talks of actors who have played Dr Who, even if I don't really know what they're talking about

I want to watch Coronation Street but I've seen it only once
dead on the inside, i've got nothing to prove

I am guilty of yet having to watch the new Dr. Who! I know. I know. They have been showing it here in the US for a few years now. My brother has told me to watch it repeatedly. I just never seem to get a chance to see it.

I watched it as a kid, though. The classic Doctors that I remember from my childhood are Tom Baker, Colin Baker and Peter Davison. I vaguely remember Jon Pertwee from reruns. I have always liked the theme music. That actually brings back childhood memories.

How many years has this new series been on, anyway? I know they have gone through 2 doctors now. Maybe I can get it from Netflix when I catch up on the few movies that I have left to watch.

    Oh my "Bob", me too.

I feel bad. I feel really bad. Some Anglophile/nerd/cult classic lover I am.

I wanna see the older episodes because I like the funny scarves on him. I was watching I Love The '70s and for DEVO AGAIN and right before DEVO they talk about Dr. Who...I like cheap animation. I like it a lot.

After DEVO they talk about the Merlin Toys...*shifty eyes* I've seen that episode for DEVO wayyyyy too many times.

They are. Their first record came out in 1978. They where talking about Dr. Who in the 1978 episode...

I remember Dr Who from my early childhood when it came on the the Public Broadcasting Station. I was too young to understand what was going on, I'm sure, as all I remember about the show were the 'special' effects used when the wily doctor was going through a time warp.

Come on guys! The Star Trek thread is bigger and NO WAY is Star Trek better than Dr Who. Let's face it, it doesn't have scarves, crazy people out of time, dumb 'human' assistants, walking plastic dummys (unless you count some of the cast ), Daleks...come on there's loads of stuff!

Get talking Dr. Who! If we don't catch up people will start to think that the site is dominated by Star Trek geeks!
