Papayhed and Pen both got it right....

I just never got into horses, and like Pen said, I have been on a few, but really never liked it.

I did work in my dad's drug store as a soda jerk, and yep Pen does tell my age. I remember mixing coke syrup, cherry flavoring, and carbonated water for a primo coca cola. Mixing malts, shakes and ice cream sodas, and dishing out plenty of tuna and pimento cheese sandwiches.

I actually do like to mow and spending some time on the little tractor is refreshing.

    OK Papayhed Your now up!!!!!

I think I would like to jump into this game. Two truths and a lie, eh? Hmmmm ....

    1. I was a substitute organist at a church for six months.

    2. I published an internal manual of office protocol.

    3. I am a well-studied ballerina.

    I'll go for # 3, but I don't know why. I'm always wrong, anyway.

    I'm going for either #2 or #3. I think 3.

OK, Kiz, I know you are dying to hear my analysis, which is good entertainment when I miss the boat!

OK. I have had the advantage of looking at your picture.

    1. I was a substitute organist at a church for six months. (You have a musicians fingers, true enough. The face doesn't have the light of one for who it is their first love, but I will vote true here.)

    2. I published an internal manual of office protocol. (You also look as if you belong in an office. You look as if you are used to being listened to, rather than having to listen to others. I vote true here as well.)

    3. I am a well-studied ballerina. (You are small enough to have been a ballerina. But I'm thinking you studied as a child and never took your talent to the big stage. I vote three as false.)

And, Regis, that's my final answer, right or wrong.

    I'm going with 3.

    Hobbes: What mood is that?

Wow, I am totally awed by the astute people here at LitNet. Yes indeed, my number 3 was a total lie. I took up a simple ballet class when I was in first or second grade, and then it became apparent that piano was my true love... and yada yada....

    Good stuff, you guys!

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words! Off by only that music was your first love (maybe I needed front, instead of side face view) Hee-hee!

Here goes: (I think most of these I've written about)

    1. I am a candy whore. I like all things sweet, especially Starbursts, Mike and Ikes, and juju fruits.

    2. One of my first jobs in high school was working as a prep cook at Big Boy (a family restaurant).

    3. I have a patent. As a co-op student I worked in R&D.

    Well....

1.) I vote true although I wouldn't word it that way
3.) Possibly true, I seem to remember something about you having a degree.

2.) I'm going with false. If I recall, Big Boy is fast food chain, although part of the chain latter became Shoneys, which is a family restaurant.

Pen, you must be feeling better - you're correct.

    1) I am a candy whore. I'm eating licorice as we speak. (Sorry for the wording)

    3) True, I do have a patent for a project I worked on as a co-op

    2) Big Boy is/was a family restaurant, at least the ones in MI, but I was a dishwasher not a prep cook.
