Prince Jareth is already mentioned, but here are more images

Some of my favourite Alice Cooper records were made in the 80's

I LOVE that song. The singer has an amazing voice.

Video Killed the Radio Star! First music video shown on MTV when they actually played music videos. I love their choice.

Let's talk eighties home decor. Picture this:

Living Room:black leather sectional wrap-around sofa. Glass topped end tables and coffee tables. The walls are painted red.

    Bedroom (guy):
    red comforter
black and white checked sheets with some red, blue and yellow geometric shapes scattered here and there

Collection of tapes featuring poison, ratt, motley crue, whitesnake, guns n roses, beastie boys

    Bedroom (girl)bass bedframe and vanity

    white wicker dresser and nightstands

    pink and white floral comforter

    lots of teddy bears.

poster of wham above the bed, or maybe poison

Liz Claiborne perfume in the triangle shaped bottle on the dresser

rave hairspray and curling iron on the vanity

keds and slouch socks on the floor.

for burnouts ~ favorite velvet glow-in-the-dark poster of Eddie from Iron Maiden or Judas Priest (i wonder how those burnouts would have taken it to know that Mr. Screaming For Vengeance was actually...gay!)

    Girls Room:
    Posters included:

    Pat Benetar
    or Prince & The Revolution

The Love Boat hunk (he later played in The Nerds movie and Al Bundy's neighbor in Married With Children! i forgot his name. i wish somebody would post that famous poster of him since i don't know how to post.)

George Michael's or Bruce Springsteen's butt

We didn't realize it then but looking back how obvious was he???? My best friend had a blacklight Led Zepplin tapestry.

The Love Boat hunk (he later played in The Nerds movie and Al Bundy's neighbor in Married With Children! i forgot his name. i wish somebody would post that famous poster of him since i don't know how to post.)
Ted McGinley - who, by the way was also on Happy Days.

And what self respecting 80's chick didn't have this poster:
