Voyager is the weakest of the TNG shows. I'm not even sure what I think is worse, Voyager or Enterprise.
VOY is not a TNG show
TNG=TNG, DS9=DS9, VOY=VOY
yeah, you're right, I don't like VOY either and Janeway is definitely not the best Starfleet Captain, but I still like the idea of a female, middle-aged, non-eye-candy captain better than female super-heros in catsuits

long enough to see her youngest become an adult.
That’s a super hero. That’s my Mom. That's my super hero.

I was talking about the time period. 24th vs 23th vs 22nd century. Although Voyager took timetravel as a day to day activity to pass the time, so heh, the show is as much 29th century as it is 24th century TNG era.

Like Seven of Nine.
On a general note, I think the best female superheroes are from the X-men universe.

Honestly, the only decent Star Trek captain was Picard. Janeway had the annoying sanctimonious voice, Kirk was short and wooden, Cisco was arrogant and self-absorbed, and I couldn't disassociate Archer from Quantum Leap. Picard was ex-RSC for goodness sake, clearly floors the competition.
P.S. The Fifth Element is a true female super-hero!
