Harry Potter 5 - I didn't really like it. It's not one of the best films....I still like the 3rd one best. I thought it was pretty choppy and it seemed like the director assumed that everyone has read the book so he didn't explain anything....also i think there's too much talking...I mean, it's still a kids movie after all....

I have yet to go see Harry Potter, but do plan to.

I just watched Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood , and I think it rates an 8/10. It is great to think that friends can stick through all the ups and downs of life, and I thought that the story line was well done. Yeah, I liked it.

I saw it too recently and also found it very sad (haven't cried in ages while watching a film...) but beautifully made!

The Transformers--with the long suffering wife. I liked it BUT with my advanced years as good as it was I think I have seen one action movie too many. Ironically both my two sons raved about it. It just never grabbed me like Star Wars and Aliens did back in the day. To make this easier - it was like Casino Royale giving the James Bond franchise a breath of fresh air--and I very much like Pierce Broseman by the by. Transformers reminded me of another Spielberg movie where life is just shy of being real (not all his flicks are like that) but there seems to be a slight bit of repitive themes. Long story longer have probably seen the Joker getting punched by Batman 20 times too many--the edge is off. Now if Grimlock had been in the picture--wait--the sequel's been announced. I can wait. Anticipation back now.

it has a literary quality to it apparent to all brad bird works. there's somn just as magical with his brand of animation as miyazaki has with his.

it's definitely the best animated affair of 2007 for sure.

just the concept alone is crazy rat in a kitchen... COOKING gourmet food. but the movie succeeds and works on so many levels. i was skeptical after cars from last year... but brad bird made all the difference.

Happy Feet -- 10/10. It was such a cute movie. I just loved those little penguins.

Last King of Scotland -- 10/10. If I do not like Amin, it's because of this movie.

Little Miss Sunshine -- 10/10. The girl is so cute. I just loved the dance sequence in the end. The whole family is eccentric.

Wow... pretty low for "the best in the series".
"Dullness. Ethereal, ephemeral, allegorical dullness. The blunt boredom rises from the gorge of her insufferable lips and floats like the tiniest feather of a long dead bird until it lands, naked and tired memory next to your fleshy feet. But she is gone now, away, away, like all the others, away, away! Only I, poet man, has chosen to stay. And I welcome you, travelers, to the memory catacombs of the Brunnen-G!" (c) Poet Man

I am sure you'll like it. I really loved the characters other than the main ones, like Ramon, one of the little penguins, and Lovelace. They were so cute.
