But the beauty of it all is that everything in this thread is delicious and calorie free. If only real life was so accomodating....

Hi symphony, I love diet coke. I like it better than regular Coke or Pepsi any day of the week.

dont think i'd like diet vanilla coke...
Just thought i'd ask. I really liked it. You could only get cherry coke in a can. It was only out for a few months. First time i had cherry was in Leuven Belgium. First time i had vanilla was in N.Z.

It tastes ok. I prefer plain Diet Coke really. It is like coffee for me...I love coffee but really don't care for added in flavorings.

I also really like coffee. But there is only one brand of decaff that i would drink. Okay two. Bewleys and Carte Noir.

I used to really like Diet Coke and it's various flavours, before I became all anti-chemical that is
I always thought the best soda was root beer

Wouldn't it be great to have root beer made the old fashioned way, like in the early 1900's, when things were pure and adding pollutants to beverages was unheard of....

WOOT, then we could have genuine Root Beer Floats! And I could play the Root Beer Rag, a very wild piano piece written by Billy Joel, if you can believe!

Pretty good - not as good as Sarsaparilla, though.

The flavour of Root Beer is kind of hard to describe, I think that Robin provided a good answer. But the best thing about Root Beer is that when you pour it, there is a huge foamy head, which I try to slurp off quickly, before it dissipates.... **yummmmmmmy**
