I had a chance to read these as the storms passed through. I enjoyed them very much thanks for all of the effort.

Somehow, I've lost my way. I just read LAPD and I wanted to read the others and can't figure out where they are

I am going to log off now and go do something else and maybe when I come back tommorow, someone will have replied and posted a link to the actual stories so that I can finish reading

(sorry to be such a moron but I've been clicking around for a while and now I've just got to go. I'm sure when someone points it out I will have a big "duh" moment and then I can go on enjoying the stories)

Well, it pleases me that no story is going out of this competition without a vote! If someone takes the time to write a story, and has the courage to share it with the rest of us, they deserve a vote for bravery, anyway, I say!
    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...

Finally got my essay finished and found some time to read these. All excellent quality, but I've found my favourite.

It was close for a while, but suddenly one has pulled away.

If you haven't voted, you have only a few more days.

A lot of slice-of-life pieces this time around, or at least it seems so.

My apologies for voting! I didn't realize until afterward that I'm not allowed because I've not yet posted 100 times.
