Yet I don't doubt the answer will be a resounding "yes"... After all, what isn't there to like about turnips?

People are obsessed about different things....but..turnips (imagine a lot of emphasis on this word)...I have seen no use of turnip except as a salad

Although I know of no specific literature of the humble turnip I would say that it has a long tradition of being eaten with haggis on Burns' Night so it does have a tenuous connection outside of recipe books. That reminds me I have to go out and shoot a couple of haggi this weekend!

Be careful! The last time I saw a picture of haggi, it looked like a grenade to me...

I wonder what is it filled with -- not 'humble' turnip

Why is it cooked inside the animal's stomach? (that is what I read about how its cooked) Does it add a special flavour to it?
