"Perfume, the story of a murderer". I read the book in 2 days so had it all fresh in my mind when I went to see it. It must have been quite difficult to make a film out of that book....altough the film had a narrator, you couldn't expect them to keep saying "he smelled this or that" all the time, it would have ended up tedious. Nevertheless, it was good...some chunks where cut off or altered, but that's to be expected. At least they didn't change the ending! The main actor was especially good, he portrayed Grenouille as a cold and indifferent (to other people) person, and was a bit intimidating as well!

"It's so mysterious, the land of tears."

It wasn't bad, a little brutal for my taste, I am a self declared wimp when it comes to violence, I got up to take a potty break during the torture scene, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it...not the potty break, the movie.
