Yes, raspberry preserves are manly...There is an initiation where men are forced to smear the preserves over their body and then spend the night in bear infested woods. Very Macho.

... macho/??? Um.. on a dare at camp... my ex smeared some strawberry jam on his leg and didn't use the blanket... I saw him and I have this innate motherly sense to blanket anyone I see... but I didn't notice the jam so... sticky blanket... well.. it was like 10 degrees ther at Baguio at that time... what choice did I have??/

It all depends on how you eat it, the technique for spreading it on the toast and shoving it in your mouth. And then speaking with your mouth full and chewing it like a big ball of bubble gum. Almost anything can be manly.

I'll have to pass on this one. Call me effeminate, but no thanks.

You do realize there's more than one way to interpret that equation, don't you?

    Course.

However, I am shocked and outraged that you would suggest I am lowering the tone of the conversation

Oh I say? Bugs in the perserves? Are we having amber? All jokes aside, chaps, I did once get a jar of honey with part of the comb and a very large bumblebee in the jar!

well...If it still had the bear hair...than we could say fresher.

    night...fishes eh? crazy!

Have you ever cooked fresh eel...if its fresh, after you kill it and skin and drop it in the pan...it crawls out...its kinda unerving to see deboned (so to speak) and headless eels crawling out of a pan...it has a tendancy to make your gf scream uncontrollably.
