It's interesting that I should come across this post, as just the other day my brother-in-law was telling me about a show he watched on the Discovery Channel. The new king of the jungle is the Liger--a cross between a siberian tiger and a lion. The cat was monsterous--approximately three times the size of the siberian tiger!

Sorry to hear about your goldfish buddy Sub. Hope ur doin okay.

It is strange how attached we get to our pets, isn't it. I have two cats right now, Ringo and Pica, and they are my boys. I don't know what I'm going to do when I lose them.

You are correct Autumngal. The Liger is gigantic!!! But aren't they usually born sterile? Or am I thinking of a Tigon? (The liger sire being the Lion and the tigon sire being the tiger.)

I think the only dogs my family raised during my lifetime were dobermans and one daschund. I don't know why. I think they are my dad's favorite, although that breed has grown near my heart too.

Yes, I've heard of a Liger, but it's not a natural animal. It was bred. But I can't believe it's three times the size of a Siberian Tiger. That would put it at around 2000 pounds. I know it's big, but it can't be that big.

    Sleepywitch,

Sloths are cool I just wish I hadn't seen a sloth get picked off by an eagle, carried off to the nest, and eaten alive. It was horrible.

No, I gleaned this pic from the internet. But you can image the same image with a white strip running down his chest, that's my dog.

Riesa, she is absolutely beautiful! Great pic.

Aww, kittens are so sweet. My Stanley is five now, and he was so cute when a kitten. He tried my patience though, little brat.

gosh, I do take on like they were my kids...
