    Secret Santas!!

Or whatever holdiday you celebrate - in our secular school this is called "Hidden Homies".

So, i thought this might be a really fun thing to do as the holidays are approaching (or, in the case of Hannukah, already here! )

If anybody goes for the idea - each person is assigned a "hidden homie". The person they are assigned will not know who their homie is, but they will have their own assignment to a person. You send PMs to your hidden homie with clues about who you are. Since on LitNet there is no way to hide your username (i think), you will probably want to ask another person to send the PM, with clues that you make up. This would have to go pretty quick - but if everybody can try to spread the idea around, hopefully we can get out the first clues by Christmas day. Then, you can send however many more clues you want - but a week or two later (whatever people think would be a good amount of time, though everybody should agree so everybody finds out their "hidden homie" on the same day), you send a PM revealing who you are. In my school, you would give gifts with this last message - but since we're working electronically here, you could just send a cool picture, or something else - be creative!

Anyways - anybody up for the idea?

    It seems fun, mir!

    Some questions:

Can we have more than one "homie"?

And maybe, a lot of people are having the same "homie"? Is it okay? Or are you going to assign people by yourself???

Ok - i probably am not going to be able to orchestrate this personally, as i am leaving for a week in a few days. but, the way it usually goes is each person has one "homie", i think. it should work out that things go in a circle, and everybody has a homie and is a homie.

But yes, one person should assign all the hidden homies and know who everybody's is.

Use someone you trust- someone who keeps secrets. (Of other people, not just himself, ROBIN...)

See if someone here will do it.
May curiousity kill me, and may satisfaction bring me back.

I seem to have finally found my way back to heaven online, formally known as you all. I've missed you all so much....

    OK! Good idea!

    Let's see . . .

hmm, Night seems a bit too eager to hold the power.

But - how about whoever gets in the fastest post saying they want to orchestrate?

Well - since Lain didn't register interest - Scher, i guess you get the post!

so, if you don't understand the rules, just PM me. otherwise - PM as many people as you can who you think would play, and if they agree, assign them a homie! thanks scher! if you need help, i'll still be here for a few more days.

It all sounds fun! Do we pick our homie?
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

I think instead of PMing everyone, I will ask them to send me their clues if they are interested (to save time).

No, I will be assigning the homies once I get the full list of people who are interested in the game.

    Dear LitNet-ians,

If you would like to take part in our Secret Santa game, please PM me the clues about your identity (at least 3, please) by December 25th.

Once I receive your PMs, I will pass them onto your assigned 'homies' one by one.

    Thank you!

I'd be glad to orchestrate this game but Scher beat me to it! But it's alright...Scher is the Ultimate Administrator! (No offense to Logos and Chris )

I'd join, Scher! I'll PM you. Though I think that only the females are interested...

You got me singing with your new signature...

And by the way, do we get to know immediately who our Homies are?
