I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

2554 same here...numbers just seem so cold and repetitive.

    2561!!!!!!!!!!!!! (http://www.baseball-reference.com/d/daviswi02.shtml)

I've often thought of Willie Davis as one of the most under-rated players in baseball history. He was a fantastic fielder, and an above-average hitter who had the misfortune of playing his career in an extreme pitcher's park in one of the worst eras for hitters in baseball history.
