May I please have a scotch on the rocks? I've been a drinker since I was 12, mostly for the "life sucks and hates me" part... I've never been really drunk and I actually want to know what I am when I'm drunk... I don't drink tequilla though... That one's acid for your liver... To fashion, friends, boys who care and make-up... Cheers!

I have to agree about the blogging. After I got to know some people from a couple of Dungeon Siege sites (yes, a videogame) through interacting on the sites (lots non- game related things to talk about) and also from their IRC (internet relay chat) channel, I started a blog at one of the sites I am a member of. I have posted about some things that trouble me, and it does help to get it out. Oddly enough, there are some things I am able to reveal about myself online that I am reluctant to do in my day to day life.

Ozeed, I got married very young as well and after 12 years got divorced. Actually one of the good men I was thinking of was my ex, weird as that sounds. He is a very decent person and was sweet. He broke my heart and I hated him for awhile but I got over it...eventually.

Anyway, on to the less serious matters at hand. I think there was a request for cookies? I found this site randomly, but was instantly captivated by their motto.
    Life is short. Eat cookies

Well said! That goes for me too! (well, I go for boys over the age of like 30, but who cares)

(shini, I don't wish this to sound condescending or mean, but drinking that young is really not good for your health. Sorry, don't mean to lecture but I just wanted to say that)

I used to write stories and poetry all of the time (Though it was never any good ) But I just stopped for some reason.
I've had an idea. I was planning on writing my friend a story for Christmas, but I cut it short because it was a crummy story. Now, I am planning a new one for him, with a hidden message. Hehehe. And, it's written in code, so that only I can read it. Then I'll type it up propperly at home (It's in code so that no one in my school can read it if they get it)
Now, instead of drink, let us drown our sorrows with chocolate, sugar and fizzy drinks full of additives

Now, I do not believe in dieting, but that is not to say that one should let oneself get so large as to not be able to enjoy life to its fullest! Instead of dieting, I propose women and men should simply eat healthy portions of foods and partake in romantic walks on the beach (for couples) or regular nights of dancing (for singles). If neither of those suits you you can try many other fun activities like bike riding, or walking on a treadmill in front of the TV (my mother's favorite), or even taking salsa lessons or some fun aerobics class!

I'm not really a health nut, I just spent last semester watching what I ate and doing regular excercise, and let me tell you, it felt SO GOOD. I would wake up before my alarm and feel GREAT, and I was so much happier, I didn't really lose much weight but a lot of people were telling me that "I looked different" and asked me if I had been working out. It was a wonderful feeling. This semester I haven't been doing so great, and once again it is a struggle to get out of bed, and, well, at least my boyfriend still thinks I'm beautiful!

    Great! I'm blushing!

Someone mention tequila? I used to love the stuff. But it never drowns your problems; they are still there when you finally come back around. And it is bad for your liver, and health in general. My dad, the alcoholic, nearly destroyed his liver with drinking. He'd get dried out, the liver is an organ that will regenerate itself, and he'd get better, and then start the cycle over. He died about four years back of lung cancer (he smoked about four packs a day), and aneurisms on the brain.

If you don't start a bad habit, you never have to quit! Anyone that says quitting is easy, probably never had the habit to any extreme degree. Quitting smoking took me a long time. My pipe is just for show, I never have lit them, and the meerschaums are still pure white.

That's why I refuse to smoke and refuse all alcohol too, I also refuse drugs too

Bluebiird, I am just like you one hundred percent. No alcohol, no drugs, no cigarettes...no addictions to dangerous stuff to worry about.

They seem to have gotten together kegs of beer and cups of limoncello over there, and I vote that we expand our drink selection here as well. In addition to our already spectacular selection of choice coffee brews we could have a lovely assortment of beers wines and snazzy cocktails. I'll contribute an assortment of my personal favorites including:

    A nice dry martini:

    A pint of Guiness:

Some good Scotch (on or off the rocks):

And, of course, the pink drink extrordinaire, the cosmo:

Any of these should help chase those period cramps away. Non-drinkers or underage members can have a Shirley Temple in a martini glass or a fancy looking tropical drink without the alcohol. Incidently, if the guys are going to persist in hanging around this thread and expect any share of our martinis I think they should be required to resemble James Bond. What do you say to requiring suits or tuxes for any male member who wants to enter this thread? (Ladies can still wear what they like).
unlike you boys we stick to things, wer not FICKLE! THEREFORE......when we say 'ANYONE FOR COFEE?' we mean coffee! Since its only girls theres no need to get each other drunk, make lame jokes and hit on them hoping their too drunk to notice the eye patch over a missing eye!
    * a lour roar: hear hear! *

But after the day iv had......im game! But rather than tainting this thread il go and get drunk at the boys thread. I know girls, no need to warn me, not a wise decision at all. Me, beautfiul and clever, them: raging hormones, ugly things. Il make them promise to put in me a taxi when im really drunk and stop me when i start stripping.

Isn't it scary that I don't need all those things to behave the way I do...it's all natural craziness baby!
