lol, because we have a depletion of common sense in this world

I am having SUCH a hard time figuring out how to word my thesis statement for British Literature! I already have the whole paper outlined, but my professor said I had a "weak thesis"...after 5 re-writes I now have:

"The only valid interpretations of "Goblin Market" by Christina Rossetti are those which take into consideration the poem's historical context."

I never thought I'd ever write something so...unexciting/uncontroversial

heehee you'd better find lots of evidence and watertight arguments to prove that they actually are the only valid interpretations

eh, I got tired of the professor finding holes in my thesis, let him find holes in my paper, lol

I may have to change it to "The most popular interpretations of "Goblin Market" today are only valid when they take into consideration the poem's historical context."

edit: now I'm looking at it, and "the most popular interpretations" seems too vague...ugh...I'm so tired of this poem now! lol

Yeah, and that's without signing which would be probably just under the 20 million range a year on top of the 51 mill. But could you imagine what our bullpen could be? Beckett, Schilling, Papelbon, Matsuzaka, Wakefield, and if Lester comes back within the season....Could be big!
