My mom and sister and I have tried to make them since her death but they always come out like little stones and I know they're supposed to be a little hard but not that hard.

I could be having tea and mixed nuts but I am too lazy to go the kitchen at the moment.

I wish of having a Haagen Dazs popsicle ice-cream...

But my brother ate my share...

A good thing, maybe, because ice-cream is not exactly a cure for cough and having it at night is even worse.

    Carrott and Coriander soup. Yum.

sorry, my bad, forgot to add that my dad also added salt, pepper, and other spices.. names escape me...
He also put everything in a pot, turned on the stove, put the said ingredients, brought it into a boil added salt and pepper, mixed with the best ingredient--Love.
Put in a plate, with rice and a bowl of soup, got the spoon and fork and put it in my mouth, ground by my teeth, tasted with my tongue, said"Yum" a couple of times, swallowed, Then the food went to my throat and trachea and pharynx and larynx- got them mixed up, I know, but who cares... then to my intestine and small intestine and eventually...Who knows Where.

that explains it all...he he he...

well I didnt mean -- why didnt you explain every detail?

I was under this impression that you were having boiled food, and so far as I know many people dont put spices, as it becomes hot.
