Jumper Cables are the red and black cables with the croc-clamps in the picture opti posted in the guys thread - This is another example of why women should not be allowed to own a car, let alone drive one!

Piffle! Why I have even jumpstarted my car AND pumped my own gas. Although it was traumatizing because I almost broke a nail....

*cough* Goodness, who would be nosy enough to do something like that?
The fact is that the number of women buying gadgets has gone up 20% in the last two years and in the last twelve months British women spent an average of £634 each on technology - that's more than we spent on shoes!

The big tech companies have been quick to identify this trend and, keen to get their hands on some dolly dough, they've come up with a whole range of gadgets designed to appeal directly to the growing ranks of girlie geeks.

So what have they come up with? Well, rather embarrassingly for the ladies, the main way that you make a woman want your product is ? PAINT IT PINK!

Seems like there are more boys posting in the Girlie thread and more girls in the Boyish thread!

Something to ponder and wonder about?

How was your manicure, birdy?looked breathless or cheapy?
Niether. I'd say it looked decent. I did them in two shades of pink. So, from left to right my nails were dark pink, light pink, dark pink, light pink, dark pink (Continuing onto the other hand) light pink, dark pink, light pink, dark pink, light pink and all topped off with a smooth coat of a kind of light, pinky, slightly glittery nail varnish that made them all nice and smooth (Because the light and dark pinks were from a cheap little set of different coloured varnishes that my cousin got me for Christmas a couple of years ago.) So, I'd say they were okay. Niether cheap or glamourous. But, I have the kind of nails made for nail varnish. The only way I can think of descibing them is, imagine those horrible stick on nails you can get, only slimmer and neatly rounded at the top, not squared. They can look very elegant on their own (When they're clean that is). They also grow rather quickly. They used to break a lot, but they seem to have got stronger now.
It turned out that either no one had the guts to dye their hair pink or no one could be bothered. Most of the sixth form wore something pink though. The few boys that didn't ended up borrowing a pink scarf, hat or gloves from one of the girls. All in all, it was quite a fun day. And, I got my breast cancer pin. I'd been waiting for my opportunity to get one all month. I don't mind that it's pink, because it's got a nice kind of blueish glitter, so it's all nice and sparkly. And, as an added bonus, I got a sticker too
