    Rondom my thoughts go again
    Where is a destination I can't explain
But rondomly go my day and night
Making a future seem so bright

    Oh! life you'r but hell
Oh! hell you'r but in me
    When I'v lost your love
I'm lost in an ocean of destiny

It's not that hard and the source shouldn't be any more dubious than the sites he frequents and gets electronics from!
I will attempt...used electronics is like kryptonite to people of technical relations, ie a network administrator, a database administrator, anyone who owns two sets of star wars (dvd, and vhs)...so...its more like a disease and should be treated as such...maybe coax him into buying books by asking for used electronic pda books...or a used slate...or the like...well...you could always just bash him.

What do you have against children? Was it a younger sibling who peed on your school project or he ate all your candies?

Unfortunately, "he" is not my computer but my older brother. But I will keep suggestion in mind.

Because it would demolish his self-confidence, of course!

... ... and not because he's 'slightly' stronger than I am

nothing...its just...having to take a bus, in the days before my tuscon, at the same time that all the schools let out...or being attacked by children at the walmart...or being attacked by children when I go to pick up my sister from school...or being attacked by childrens at work (I don't know why I always have to do tech support for the daycare...apparently I am good with children...ie... I dont kill them)...or the fact that children are evil.

Ahhh, I have to go through this everyday, in the school. Little one's running around, about to run into you. I don't mind it, at least they bring laughter in the world. And it's refreshing to see young smiling faces.

I spent several hundred dollars to take a semester of sociology and so far all I've 'learned' is that Karl Marx wasn't a communist and that radical feminists 'blame all their problems on men'.

Indeed, I found the same thing, and, then there was the money spent on philosophy...it's a good thing I'm stubborn, or I would have reasoned myself out of existance by now.
