    Have you read American Psycho?

I just finished reading it last week and it is one of the most well-written, complex books of the past decade. It's as biting in its satire as Naked Lunch is, and far more disturbing, in the aspect of its use of violence.

Has anyone read it? I'd love to discuss the different levels at work within the text, re: the unreliable narrator that is Patrick Bateman.

I have read it but since it was quite awhile back it's not quite fresh in my memory. I do remember the shocking violence being so intermingled with his list of designer names that it was even more shocking.
