I think that Our mutual friend is the best dickens I've read. To me Dickens is a constant reminder of the world around me as I work in London in the area he wrote about most - I work opposite the 3 cripples (now the One tun) and just 50 metres from Bleeding Heart yard and for me to explore these areas after having read his stories make them even more interesting.

In case of a tie, I usually flip a coin, like Night above said. We haven't had a three-way tie so far but if we do, I might draw cards or something!
I don't mind re-reading David Copperfield either; it was one of my favorite books while growing up... Can't remember how many times I have read it.

Me too! I want to read the Bleak House because number one: I like the sound of the title--Bleak House--isn't it cool?I cry over that dog every time I read oliver twist.
Ive already read great expectations and David copperfield is my favourite Dickens to date ( might be becasue there is a reasnable female charcter?) .

Anyways: Lets read Pickwick papers - I have already read David Copper - I have seen Great Expectation on TV far too many times and Hard Times is just not funny. Lets read Pickwick papers.
