Are you really Blondy? You seemed older.

You need to keep more up to date, young Irish! Walking sticks are so out. We prefer Zimmer Frames these days.

They are much more convenient... especially when one is doing the Hustle!

Oh my dear, a good cane will never go out of fashion. So much easier to whack young whippersnappers over the head with when they get too sassy...

See, its funny because when I was a kid I thought "grownups" were very serious all the time and sophisticated. Like when I was an adult, I would sleep in a business suit or something. Essentially though, I feel pretty much the same on the inside as I did 20 years ago. Apparently I don't look all that different either. The drinking age in Massachusetts is 21 and I was buying a bottle of wine to bring to my Dad's for dinner one weekend. The cashier at the liquor store carded me! Ha ha, it made me feel good, although I don't think I look like I am 20 years old still. Maybe 29 or 30. Not too bad for a "crone" eh?

Groan... You know something? That has never happened to me. Not ever. Not even when I was too young to buy the stuff... Oh well...

Funny, it happens to me now when I am much older than legal drinking age, but when I was younger no one ever questioned me about my age. Perhaps I am in a timewarp...

I was actually the one my friends would cajole into buying beer when we were teenagers. (and yes, that is wrong and no, folks should not do it...)

I wish the younger folks would not act like being in your 30's is so OLD. It really, really isn't. I live and act my age, whatever that means....always have. Which means, I try to enjoy life because it is somewhat fleeting.

i don't think that people dont want to talk to older ppl but sometimes it's easier as they can relate to them more as they might have the same interests.

Hey guys, It was just an innocent question..... just to clarify things I have nothing against older people and I don't believe 30 or 40 is old... and I appreciate to share points of view with people of all ages...

I don't remember who asked me where I am from... but the answer is that I am from Cochabamba-Bolivia... small country with many trouble I speak spanish which would explain any grammar errors when writing in english so excuse me for that ...
My apologies for any errors in language.... I am not an ignorant, it's just that english is my second language....

Oh dear, I don't think anyone is angry with you, alejandra.
I hope I didn't give you that impression via my post earlier in this thread. I wasn't angry at anyone when I wrote that. Just in case that is what you are referring to....
