Bardarbunga is such a great name for a volcano. There's still no excuse for Eyjafjallajokull, though.

    To my dead sister.

    Everyday I look for you,
    you're nowhere to be found.
    Everyone can see you though,
    they know that you're around.
But here I am all by myself,
    lonely in a crowd.
    Waiting, wishing, hoping, longing
for a sign that you're around.

    Welcome to LitNet dear poet.

My random thought on your poem: your poem has a surrealistic quality that is quite touching. I think of my sister who passed on way before her time quite often: holidays, birthdays, when I see a photo, her "passing day", fb postings by family, etc. Have had way too many passings recently in my life - it's hard not to dwell upon them.

An odd eclipse tonight: Portrait of Jennie, The Lake House, and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir... likened unto a Venn diagram or cardioid function.
