    Kateh! My name's Hwo Thumb, and I'm an amateur, underage writer. Currently I'm working on my first novel, a science fiction piece called Grae. Some of my favorite books are Ender's Game, as well as the shadow series that accompanies it, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Wool, a little known but pretty fantastic 550 page omnibus you can pick up on the kindle store for five bucks.

    I love writing anything that comes to mind, but science fiction is my favorite because I can make up my own rules. The two works that I think have influenced my writing style the most are the TV show, Firefly (Which everyone should watch) and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Which everyone should read)

    Hello from chilly Scotland!

    It is difficult to introduce yourself on the page, I am someone who enjoys reading and writing. I mean writing on paper with a pen, is there anything quite so satisfying as watching the curl of letters across a page?

    I am the mother of 3 nearly grown up children and on many occasion books have saved my sanity!
