    The clock

    The Clock

The flow of dusk goes deep into the night.
A sleep disturbed by dreams of a clock,
    Ticking away the time tonight.
And always, realizing the moment in shock.

Old age is a only a brief moment away.
The decision to start living is made,
    It shall begin without delay.
For behold, there is no reason to be afraid.

The pendulum swings as it ticks and tacks.
Every second flows into a river of time,
    With dreams loosing their tracks.
For tonight, waking up will be sublime.
There is no darkness, there is no light, there is only Lasagne!

Indeed a good poem about something we must are always inundated with in the ordinary course of life, a reality from which we can find no escape. Life is time and space squeezed and materialized.

“Those who seek to satisfy the mind of man by hampering it with ceremonies and music and affecting charity and devotion have lost their original nature””

“If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more the faculties of the mind! The mind of the sage, being in repose, becomes the mirror of the universe, the speculum of all creation.
